HOW do you build a list? WHERE do you start?
How many times do you hear the same old thing? If you want to have a successful online business, you have to build your list!
It is a problem every new online marketer faces, (unless your background is in marketing). You want to start promoting your business as fast as you can so you can start making money right away.
We all want that.
You can just promote your referral URL for program x, y, or z? But just realize that you just added another name to their list when you get a sign up.
I just recently came across a program, that teaches you how, to build your list. This program gives you the resources you need, to start off on the right foot.
It is geared towards helping you to set up and use your Autoresponder.
TrafficLeads2Income teaches you how to set up an Autoresponder, to collect the names & email addresses of your subscribers.
It teaches you how to set up your downline builder, so you can get referrals to other programs you belong to.
It also teaches you how to set up a Lead Capture Page that your potential subscribers will fill out to find out more information about what you are promoting. These are the Names & Email addressing that go into your Autoresponder.
Once you have your Autoresponder set up, you need to write emails to put into your Autoresponder that will go out to your prospects. This can be the hardest part of getting your Autoresponder ready to use if you are not comfortable with writing. A few things to keep in mind when writing your emails are:
- PERSONALIZE - It always feels better to receive an email that sounds like it was sent to you only, not just one of a million people.
- GET THERE ATTENTION - Try to think of what kind of a headline would make them want to read what you have to say.
- BE NATURAL - Try to write the way you would talk to the person if they were standing in front of you.
- KEEP IT SHORT - Maybe not everyone will agree with this one, but, we are bombarded everyday by many emails, be passionate about your program, but try to keep to the point to get them to read to the end.
- Those are just some guidelines I like to use when writing my emails, certainly not the hard & fast rules.
Now that you see some of the basic things to keep in mind when building your list, it's time to start advertising. There are many different ways in which to do this. Here are a few ways to keep in mind:
- TRAFFIC EXCHANGES - These are member based sites where you view other programs to earn credits in which to show your program to other members. You can join for FREE in most cases, or you can purchase an upgrade to greater advertising advantages. These sites can be very beneficial to you if you have a very low advertising budget when starting out
- SAFELISTS - Again, a member based site that you can send emails to the member base.
- EZINES - You can submit articles to advertise your program.
- CLASSIFIED ADS - Free or paid options
- SOCIAL MEDIA -Facebook, Myspace, Twitter etc
- PAY-PER-CLICK
- BLOGS
I hope this has been helpful in getting started on your list. All the best, I hope to see your ads soon. :)

Welcome to Charm's Marketing World
I would like to welcome you and thank you for stopping by & taking a look at what I have to offer. This is my first time putting together a blog and hope you will leave a comment and let me know what you do and don't like about it.I have been marketing online for about 3 years, and it has been a very big learning experience. I began online like so many people wanting to make extra money and have a better quality of life for myself and family. I took this route to achieve this when I was unable to work for about 2 months due to a broken ankle. I started by signing up for a Data Entry Program. I figured wow, just do some data entry & get paid, perfect, right up my alley. Wow, did I ever get my eyes opened.
Now being someone that does not give up easily I kept at it and tried to learn everything that I could. Not having any marketing experience at all I found writing adds and placing them in ezines and anywhere else I could find to be more difficult than it sounded. So this began my search for any "easier" way to earn money online. I realized that with my limited knowledge (& finances) that advertising other products in Traffic Exchanges was maybe the way to get my feet wet.
I started small and tried not to be swayed by all the opportunities I was seeing while trying to show my affiliate program, and I must say I did pretty good at not jumping from one opportunity to another, and have learned allot about this business and still have a whole world of things yet to learn.
What I would like to offer to readers is some of the things I experience in my quest to "make it" online. I would like to tell you about my favourite places to advertise, some of the exciting things that are happening. I do take this business seriously, but would also like to keep it light hearted and enjoyable.
Thank you for stopping by
